Our passion for this Industry is unmatched as our community does not sleep in our research, study and documented analytics regarding unfolding Break Through Players to target, Strategies to deploy and innovating predictions that we call First within the Industry. So, Don’t Let the other Fantasy Content creators and enthusiast fool you. Publication Dates do not lie. The easiest way to determine which Content Creator provided what information first, is to view the publication Date (s) or that particular Article, Newletter or Podcast Video. Sure, viewers will view similar content creators evaluations being closely linked to FantasyGoodeSports because, there are some other Content Creators out there as well that have some of the same qualities as our Brand. However, in any Industry, the FIRST to call it is the First to CLAIM IT!. So, I encourage our Community to be sure to take note as to who published the content first to sift through the copycats and bandwagon jumpers out there. Yesss sirrrr!!! So, with that being said Let’s take a look at a popular Draft strategy which has been heavily deployed over past 5 to 10 NFL seasons called as the “ZERO Runningback philosophy”
**Historically** Runningbacks owned the top 15 Fantasy Draft spots!

As far back as 2010 NFL Fantasy Football Drafts have been dominated by the Runningback position. Many Drafters targeted at least one Runningback on an NFL team that possessed a three – down Role for its respected NFL team. A runningback that can pass protect its starting Quarterback, big enough to sustain brutal contact toting the rock in between the tackles at least 15 times per game and possessed well – above pass catching abilities out of the backfield were gods in the Industry. In the past, the top 9 to 10 players drafted in most Fantasy Football drafts consisted of a Runningback. Next, a Stud Wide receiver came off the fantasy boards and at the very start of the second draft round, a bonefide stud Tight End usually was drafted. For a huge part, the same exact process is being deployed by many within the Industry. Sure, the Industry possesses Content Creators that have touched on the deployment of the zero Runningback draft strategy but, I am here to tell you that the FantasyGoodeSports Brand (especially Founder, Terry Goode) has been Banging the Door down on this unpopular strategy for at least 3 years now. In 2022, the vast majority of our Community have noticed and documented the steady shift in superior talent at the Wide Receiver position and more than just 1 or 2 stud Tight Ends that can provide a distinct lineup advantage in the unorthodox event each are taken early (before round 5 and as early as rounds 1 and even 2). TheGoodeNews is here to encourage our viewers and supporters to confidently target/draft the top five Wide Receivers and the top three Stud Tight Ends within the top 3 draft rounds along with a Top Tiered Quarterback within first 4 to 5 Draft rounds this upcoming season. A common mistake is for drafters to reach on running backs due to the consensus rankings within the industry which many Fantasy will utilize when unprepared to draft and on the clock.

**Players to target that are not Runningbacks that are rated in the top 50 players for Fantasy Football in 2022**

**Non – Runningbacks to take with confidence in round #1 of Fantasy Drafts (in PPR formats)**

The Obvious Choices

  1. Cooper Kupp, Las Angeles Rams, WR can be penciled in for 170 targets in 2022 and is safe to post 145 catches/1,700 receiving yards/13 to 15 receiving touchdowns.

2. Jamar Chase , Cincinnati Bengal, WR will take a huge step forward after finishing an Epic Rookie NFL season. Being linked to the talented Signal Caller in Joe Burrow as his Number 1 target along with Chase’s explosive skill set will catapult this receiving phenom into a top 6 fantasy selection respectively. 2022 projected Stat Predictions for Jamar Chase = 150 targets/138 receptions/1,645 receiving yard/14 receiving touchdowns.

3. Justin Jefferson, Minnesota VIkings WR, The Vikings have a new coach this season and Kevin O’Connell is expected to employ a more pass heavy Offense to keep pace with the evolution of today’s NFL offenses respectively. QB Kirk Cousins relies heavily on Justin Jefferson and has developed a strong connection on the grid iron where they play Aaron Rodgers and the Packers twice a season. The Vikings also play the Lions and Bears who will be greatly improved on the offensive side of the ball but, still are below – average defensive units which will lead to premium opportunities for Justin Jefferson as well. 2022 projected stat line for Justin Jefferson = 140 targets/130 catches/1,549 receiving yards/13 receiving touchdowns.

**The above aforementioned Wide Receiver are strongly encouraged to be taken during the first 8 fantasy draft selections on draft day in PPR scoring formats comfortably. Each provide very safe and competitive fantasy scoring floors and high enough fantasty scoring ceiling to produce at a Championship Round atmosphere as long as they’re on the field.**

Top 3 Pass Catchers that are not Wide Receivers to be targeted in top 2 to 3 Fantasy Draft rounds in 2022.
  1. Mark Andrews, TE, Baltimore Ravens, has been a key focal point of the Ravens Offense for the past 3 NFL seasons. Key wide receiver Marquis Brown was traded to the Arizona Cardinals this offseason. Balitmore’s choice to trade Brown, vacates 146 targets. I slate Andrews to command approximately 20% of those targets on top of his normal heavy workload of past. So, add up to an additional 30 targets on top of 154 targets he received in 2021. Yeah, it will be a changing of the guard here resulting in Travis Kelce of the Chiefs finishing as the number 2 Tight End in 2022. 2022 Projected stat line for Mark Andrews = 170 targets/123 receptions/1,400 receiving yards/11 receiving touchdowns.
  2. Travis Kelce, Tight End, Kansas City Chiefs has been a powerhouse Tight end for any scoring format for the last 4 NFL seasons for both real life and fantasy standpoints. The loss of Wide Receiver, Tyreek Hill to Miami will vacate 159 targets. I see Kelce being the beneficiary of approximately 20% of those targets respectively. QB, Patrick Mahomes is arguably a top 3 talent throwing the football and he has developed an superior connection with Kelce as his top target. Projected 2022 statline for Travis Kelce = 160 targets/118 receptions/1,339 receiving yards/11 touchdowns.

**As stated earlier, the aforementioned players are bonefide studs at their position and will be drafted at the back of the first round (historically Kelce), with Mark Andrews being selected in round 3. I am here to tell you, if you want the top #1 Fantasy Tight in for 2022, draft Mark Andrews exactly after Kelce or just before Kelce to assure you get him. Also keep in mind that historically, those drafters that have selected a top tier Tight End within the first five rounds significantly increase their chances in that team making Fantasy Football Playoffs for their respective fantasy Leagues. So, If you miss out on a top tier Tight End in the first 5 draft rounds, Wait, Wait but, don’t Wait too long. Target the next tier of good producing Tight ends in rounds 8 and round 9 respectively depending draft flow. Don’t worry, TheGoodeNews will indeed address those later round Shocker TIght Ends to target in the upcoming Newsletters/Article by PrettyRichie. I got you, Terry Goode got you, We the FantasyGoodeSports will prepare our community with Cutting Edge Fantasy Content enabling to be more than prepared/confident for your upcoming Fantasy Drafts in 2022 to make it to the Fantasy playoffs with relative easy and even impressive fashion.
